Data we process

We process names, gift text, uploaded media, passcode hashes, technical logs, payment identifiers, and the information needed to provide and secure the service. Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe and are not stored by LoveUnlocked.

Purpose and legal basis

We process data to create, preview, publish, secure, support, and deliver purchased gifts; to prevent abuse; to comply with legal obligations; and, where applicable, based on your consent.

Retention

Unpaid drafts and their uploads are deleted after 7 days. Published gifts are retained until deletion is requested or the service is discontinued, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements. Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary.

Recipients

Data may be processed by our hosting provider and Stripe. The QR code displayed after purchase is generated by a third-party QR service, which receives the gift URL. Do not include sensitive information in the URL itself.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing by emailing support@loveunlckd.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

Passcodes are hashed, media is served only after successful unlocking, previews expire, and repeated passcode attempts are rate-limited. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
